		Ceramics is an exclusive light weight material from SPEKVA based on nature’s own minerals. The composition of the material and its surface give a “delightful” feeling of purity.   Ceramics from SPEKVA is a highly compressed and heat resistant material with a uniform surface and unique properties.   The environmentally friendly and hygienic material is composed of stone and clay/porcelain and other materials.   Ceramics are also perfect to use in combination with other materials such as solid wood and linoleum. The exclusive heat and scratch resistant worktop solution.
	The ceramic worktops consist of 3 mm thin sheets, which can be glued together depending on the end product desired.   To avoid problems in connection with mounting of sink and hob, the worktops are normally produced with integrated fronts of 10-80 mm.   If a thin look or a floating effect is desired, ceramic worktops are also offered with aluminium fronts in 10 mm.   Due to the material thickness, all sinks will be mounted flush glued.      Product properties that make the material unique:   - Acid and chemical resistant at normal kitchen use - Resistant to scratches, surface hardness according to the MOHS scale: 8.   The scale goes from 1-10, a diamond being rated 10 on the scale - High rupture strength - Frost proof/resistant - Fire resistant, resistant to heat (approx. 250 °C) - Hygienic and maintenance free - UV resistant - Environmentally friendly and 100% reusable
